Your security is of great importance. This shop has SSL, which gives you an added layer of security when you go to purchase your goods at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe and they have a reputation for a high level of security on all transactions.

The payment processor system used on this website is Stripe. They allow business owners to accept many different forms of payment from customers around the world.

Stripe uses a secure transmission gateway, which has the benefit of being encrypted. They are renowned for their strong security so you will have a safe and secure experience if you choose to purchase a product.

At checkout, you might be asked for your name, email address and home address. These details are needed so that the order can be processed.

This is in compliance with Article 6 of the UK GDPR which requires a lawful basis when processing a person’s personal data. For example, by giving your consent at checkout for your name, address and email address to be used for the purpose of making the payment, this is a lawful basis for processing your personal data.

Your name and email address will be used to send the digital file containing the product. Other than to make a payment by way of Stripe, sending out the file, by way of Gmail, and joining Monica’s newsletter, by way of Convert Kit (please see the Receiving The Digital Download section below,) Monica will not forward any of your personal details to a third party.

REFUND AND EXCHANGES

As these are digital products, returns or exchanges are not permitted.

All sales of the download are final. In exceptional circumstances, for example, where a clear mistake has been made, a refund can be actioned minus the shipping costs.

TAXES

This is not in-depth tax advice and is based on knowledge about certain aspects of the UK and the USA tax systems. For example, sales tax is added to the total at the checkout in the USA. So this will appear if you purchase one of the products in the USA.

This is not the case in the UK. In the UK, there is Value Added Tax (VAT) which is a rate applied to most goods and services. This has been taken into account and included in the price of the products, as in the UK, the price for VAT is included in the price before checkout, not after.

SHIPPING FEES

Although it seems unfair to charge delivery for a digital product, this is simply because some countries charge additional taxes for digital products. An effort has been made to keep the delivery cost as low as possible and you will only be charged for the first item that you order and not for any other items after that, i.e. if you purchase two copies of ‘The Beauty of Love’ poem, you will be charged delivery for the first one in the order and not the second one.

RECEIVING THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD

When you receive the digital download, there will be an offer to join Monica’s newsletter (you will receive a free eBook if you do.) This offer is optional and if you do decide to join the newsletter, (it’s free), you can unsubscribe at any time. Other than to send out the newsletter, your email address will not be shared with a third party.

No one likes spam and every effort will be made to protect your privacy.

DISCOUNTS

At times, there will be discounts on the website. Generally, it will be clearly stated how long the discount period is. If you make a purchase outside the period and still want a discount, then provided it is not an excessive amount of time, no more than two days after the initial discount has ended, please contact Monica to resolve the matter.
